These trailer hub and bearing replacement kits include the necessary components to repack and replace your trailers bearings,races, and grease seals. You will see we offer both Hub Kits and Bearing Kits. This is a distinction we use to specify which combination you will need. The Hub Kits include the Inner and Outer Bearings and Grease Seal. The Bearing Kits additionally include the Inner and Outer Races (Bearing Cone). If you desire, you could only replace your Bearings and Seal, which would mean you would reuse your old Races. We offer the Bearing kits (complete with races) because it is always recommended to replace your Races when you replace your bearings. The condition of the race is important when installing new bearings as this is the surface that rotates around the Bearing. While more difficult than simply replacing the bearings, replacing the races as well will ensure your project last longer and performs better.

While the Hub Kits and Bearing Kits you see are found in all Kodiak Disc Brake Systems of its adjoining capacity, there are rarities that exist in the trailer world. Check your inner and outer bearings to confirm bearing numbers and sizes to prevent delay during your installation. All of these Hub Kits and Bearing Kits are designed for Grease Systems, meaning you are using trailer bearing grease as a means of Lubrication. If you are needing Oil Seals or Oil Caps, check out Kodiak XL Pro Lube Components for products to outfit your Oil System. The Bearings in this category are perfectly compatible with the Pro Lube System, but you would need an Oil Seal rather than a grease seal.
