A proper functioning master cylinder is crucial to the success of your trailers disc brake system. In addition, your existing older Master Cylinder will have a Brass Hose Fitting screwed into the back of it. The intention is to re-use this fitting. Even though the Master Cylinder may no longer be working, in most if not all cases, this fitting is still in perfect working condition. Remove it from your Old Master Cylinder to be used on this new one, as they are not included with the purchase of a new master Cylinder.
