This Kodiak Stainless Steel Disc Brake Kit utilizes the slip on rotor design. Slip Over rotors are vented to increase heat dispersion while trailer at high speeds. This technology greatly increases disc brake rotor life. Add to that the Stainless steel properties of this kit and you have the highest quality brake kit for your trailer. This kit does not include the 5 Lug Galvanized Hubs. We do however offer it in this category with hubs,bearings, and grease seal. You would be purchasing this kit for your 3,500lb trailer axle that has existing standard 5 Lug idler hubs. An idler hub is a non brake hub (essentially not a brake drum). The Slip On rotor mounts on the 1/2 inch studs of the hub and is then secured when you tighten the lug nuts on the wheel. Keep in mind with these 5 Lug Slip on rotors that they will not mount on 13" trailer wheels. You must have 14" trailer wheels or greater for the rotor to fit into the bell of the wheel.

Kodiak 3500lb Brake Kits mount to your trailer axles standard 4 Hole Brake Flange. the thickness of the brake rotor increases the overall length of your trailer axle system by a 1/2" inch, which does not negatively impact your trailer in any way.

(2) Kodiak Stainless Steel Coated 225 Calipers with Stainless Steel Backed Brake Pads Pre-Installed, also includes (4) Stainless Steel Kodiak Slide Pin Caliper Bolts, (2) Stainless Steel Coated Slip On Caliper Mounting Brackets, and (2) Stainless Steel 5 Lug 5 on 4 1/2 Slip Over Kodiak Rotors as well as an instruction manual for installation

When Doing This Project:

You will additionally need mounting bolts to bolt your caliper brake to your trailers brake flange, we have these available in stainless steel as an add on to this listing.

We have this Listing Available without hubs if you are choosing to use your existing hubs. Additionally, you can choose to add Galvanized Hubs to this Kit that use the standard 3500 lb Bearing set, the 1 3/8" (68149) x 1 1/16" (44649) Bearing Set and Grease Seal (Included with the purchase of the Hubs). These are available as an add on to this listing.
