This is Kodiak Slip On 13" 7,000lb Capacity Disc Brake Kit that features both Stainless Steel components and dacromet components. This kit is includes Galvanized 8 Lug Idler hubs with Bearings, that install on your trailers spindle. The rotor is then secured in place when the wheel is mounted and the lug nuts are tightened. All Kodiak rotors feature the vented design to dissipate heat and yield a low towing temperature. This particular combination utilizes Kodiaks Stainless Steel Calipers, proven to be the best trailer disc brake caliper on the market. The stainless steel calipers also have a stainless steel piston, stainless steel bolt bushings, brass fittings, and stainless steel backed brake pads.

This 8 Lug 7,000lb Stainless Steel/Dacromet Combination will mount to your trailer axles standard 5 Bolt Brake Flange and is ideal for use with 16" Trailer wheels.

This Kit includes (2) Kodiak Stainless Steel 250 Calipers with Stainless Steel Back Pads, (4) Kodiak Stainless Steel Slider Bolts, (2) Dacromet Coated Caliper Brackets, (2) Dacromet Coated 13" 8 Lug Vented Rotors (2) Galvanized 8 Lug idler hubs, (2) 1 3/4" (25580), (2) 1 1/4" (14125A), (2) 2 1/4" ID Grease Seals, (2) 2 1/8" ID Grease Seals

*We include both sizes of Grease Seals possible on your spindle for your convenience, you will only use one of the sizes, test fit each grease seal to determine the correct size for your spindle, discard the ones you will not need.

When Doing This Project:

You May additionally need (10) 3/8" x 1 1/4" Caliper Bracket Bolts to Mount your brackets to your brake flange, we have these available in zinc plated or stainless steel as an add on to this disc brake kit, simply check the checkbox next to the style you want.

New Hubs and Bearings would require new high temp Trailer Hub Bearing Grease for packing the bearings.

Once the Rotor and the tire and wheel are mounted, sometimes a new Zinc Plated 2.717 in Accu-Lube Trailer Dust Cap fits most 8 Lug Hubs might be needed to protect your trailer bearings. We additionally offer Trailer Lug Nuts that are necessary to mount your wheel to your Hub.
