This Kodiak Integral Disc Brake Kit 10 inch for 3500lb Capacity Trailer Axle features new KodaGuard Calipers. This innovative coating is patented and available exclusively from Kodiak. Their goal was to create a cost effective, but highly corrosion resistant material that performs better than dacromet, but does not cost as much as stainless steel. They succeeded! With twice the corrosion protection of dacromet, KodaGuard offers an ideal Brake Kit for the saltwater enthusiast looking for a Brake Kit to withstand the elements.

A major advantage of the Integral Style rotors is its ability to mount on trailers with 13" trailer tires due to its smaller overall diameter versus the Slip Over style.

The 3500lb Integral Kit mounts to your trailers standard 4 Hole Brake flange using (4) Bolts per side, available as an add on to this listing in zinc plated or stainless steel. With this Integral Koda Guard Trailer Brake Kit we include (2) Kodiak 225 KodaGuard Calipers with Stainless Steel Backed Brake Pads pre-installed, (4) Stainless Steel Kodiak Slide Caliper Bolts, (2) Kodiak Dacromet Integral Rotors 5 Lug, 5 on 4 1/2, as well as (2) Dacromet Coated Integral Caliper Mounting Brackets.

The Integral Designed Kodiak Trailer Disc Brake Kits feature a one piece hub/rotor that incorporates the function of the trailer hub and the brake rotor. With each Brake rotor comes pre-installed races to accept your trailer bearings. This Integral Hub uses Inner Bearing 68149 (1 3/8" ID) and Outer Bearing L44649 (1 1/16" ID). The bearings are not included.

Other essential items to complete your installation may be 1.98 Accu-Lube Dust Cap, EZ Lube Fits Standard 5 Lug Trailer Hubs. This 1.98 size is the correct size for the standard 5 Lug hub. In addition, these hubs use the 1/2-20 trailer lug studs, which will take all the Trailer Lug Nuts that we offer. As you are installing a new disc brake kit, you will need Heavy Duty Hydraulic Brake Fluid DOT 3 for Trailer Disc Brakes when bleeding your brakes.
