Dexter Marine / Titan Disc Brake Actuators

These Surge Actuators manufactured by Dexter Marine are specifically intended for use with Hydraulic Disc Brakes. Essentially, this component acts like your trailers brake pedal. You need this device to be functioning properly in order for your Disc Brake system to operate. We carry a variety of different weight capacities and styles that fit either 1 7/8" / 2" Trailer Balls (using the 2" models for 1 7/8" Balls may require minor manual adjustment to tighten the latch) or 2 5/16" Trailer Balls. They are generally designed to bolt on to 3 inch wide trailer tongues. We have these available both with and without Reverse Lockout Solenoids and Protective Shields. The Reverse Lockout Solenoid is required in order to effective operate your Disc Brake System as it stops the flow of brake fluid in reverse.
