Both Lucas Greases, the Marine Grade and Red N Tacky are NLGI GC-LB Certified with the Highest Rating of Wheel Bearing Grease. It is also recommended that you not mix different compositions of Wheel Bearing Grease. When Re-Packing your Wheel Bearings, start from scratch with Marine Grade or Red N Tacky grease and continue using the same base of grease. There are different bases and viscosities of grease, so mixing will prevent the grease from performing at its top level, potentially causes premature bearing failure.
